A: Yes, the testers have a USB plug on the bottom that customers can go to the DICKEY-john website at www.dickey-john.com and download updated calibrations or remove a grain and add another grain in its place.
A: Yes, you can use the bias feature to adjust the reading so it is comparable to the elevator. First run the sample thru the elevator tester. Then the sample sample thru the M3G/M20P when you get your result, press the power button once. Then press the down arrow to the word bias press enter, then select adjust press enter. Then adjust the reading to match the elevator and press enter to save.
A: An error24 means the moisture parameters are out of bounds. This usually happens when a test is performed on an empty cell, or you had grain in the cell during power up.
A: Under Setup and then information you will find the remaining volts. You should replace between 7.8-8Volts.
A: It takes 8-10 seconds to test the sample.
A: No, all you need to do is fill the tester either to the top or within 1 in from the top. This will ensure that the sample board is completely covered.
A: You need a USB type B connector, which will plug-in under the battery cover.
